Today’s workout is from Gen Levrant of Faster Global.  Gen Levrant is a Faster certified Personal Trainer and Advanced Functional Training specialist, based in Southampton at her own private studio. A formerly overweight and unhealthy size 16 teenager, Gen built a career after changing her own unhealthy lifestyle from the age of 17.

After graduating from The University of Manchester, she has spent six years in the health and fitness industry; completing diplomas in Personal Training and Sports Massage, Functional Performance and most recently Functional Training Expert.

As well as fat loss and results based training, Gen also specialises in Rehabilitation to Performance, Injury and Pain Rehabilitation and Functional Nutrition.

Gen’s fitness philosophy stems from drawing on her own experiences of being overweight, unhealthy and unhappy. This has enabled her to help a wide range of clients change their attitudes and lifestyles, achieving some fantastic results and, more importantly, keeping them.

Our purpose is to create awareness for these special children and raise funding that will go towards making what seemed like a distant dream of having a family of their own become a reality, one child at a time.

Mollie chose Rod’s Racing as the charity for the first week of the advent calendar. Her brother and sister-in-law found out their second son, Jacob, had Downs Syndrome in September 2011.  He was stillborn one day after his due date in February 2012. She is an active team member hoping to raise $2000 (~£1300) in memory of Jacob.  She is very happy to be supporting children with Down Syndrome via sport.

Today we bring you one of their recipes that uses Total 0% - the completely fat free yet delicious version of the thick and creamy yoghurt.

Sautéed Butternut Squash, Mixed Bean & Pak Choi Stir Fry

Nutritional info per serving: 

382cals/20.5g protein/ 9g fat/ 1 g saturated fat /55g carbs /19g sugar /17g g fibre/ 1.7g salt
Prep time 15 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Serves: 2

2 tbsp olive oil
200g butternut squash, sliced
400g tin mixed beans, cooked
1 large red onion, sliced
4 baby sweet corn, sliced
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 pak choi, roughly chopped
½ lemon, zest & juice
2 tbsp coriander, chopped

For the yoghurt sauce:
100g TOTAL 0% Greek Yoghurt
2 tbsp mint sauce


1.       In a wok, heat a little olive oil. Stir fry all of the vegetables, except the pak choi, for approximately 5 – 6 minutes.
2.       Add the pak choi, lemon zest and juice and stir fry for another 1 – 2 minutes.
3.       Sprinkle the coriander over the vegetables.
4.       Mix the Greek yoghurt with the fresh mint and serve with the stir fry.
